Register your interest in pre-purchasing Nintendo Switch 2

Australian and New Zealand Nintendo Account holders who meet the relevant eligibility requirements can register their interest for a chance to be selected to pre-purchase Nintendo Switch 2 on My Nintendo Store.

There will be three chances to be selected for the opportunity to pre-purchase Nintendo Switch 2 on My Nintendo Store for a 5th of June, 2025 release.* See our Eligibility Requirements for more information.

Eligibility Requirements

To register your interest in Nintendo Switch 2 you must meet each of the following criteria:

For a total of at least 1 year, have been subscribed to a Nintendo Switch Online membership as the purchaser¹;
Have more than 50 hours of gameplay on Nintendo Switch by 23:59 UTC, 28 February 2025²
At time of registration and purchase, be the purchaser of an active Nintendo Switch Online membership; and
Hold an Australian or New Zealand Nintendo Account with a valid delivery address matching the country of your Nintendo Account.

¹Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership, or Nintendo Switch Online Family Membership purchased by the registrant. Data updates daily and may take approximately a day to refresh.
²Excludes trial and free software. For gameplay to count towards eligibility, sharing of Usage Information “to help improve Nintendo products and services” must have been set to “Allowed” in Nintendo Account settings.

Important Notes

If you are not selected in a prior round, you will have a chance of being selected in the remaining rounds
Once selected, you will have a limited time to complete your purchase. You are not obligated to complete your purchase, but if you do not complete your purchase within the specified purchase period, you will forfeit your allocation.
You may register your interest in both Nintendo Switch 2 purchase options but can only be allocated one purchase option. Once selected, you will no longer have a chance to be selected for the other purchase option. Purchase limit of one console per Customer.
Registering your interest early does not increase your chances at being selected.
