Australia and New Zealand Nintendo Account holders who meet the relevant eligibility requirements can register their interest for a chance to be selected to pre-purchase Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle on My Nintendo Store. See our Eligibility Requirements for more information.

There will be three chances to be selected for the opportunity to pre-purchase Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle on My Nintendo Store for a 5th of June, 2025 release.**

• Round 1: Register by 11:59AM AEST Thursday 17th April 2025 

• • Selected registrants will be notified via email at approximately 18:00 AEST Thursday 24th April 2025.
  • If selected, to secure your allocation you will need to complete your pre-purchase before 11:59AM AEST Wednesday 30th April 2025.
  • Please note: If you are not selected during Round 1, you will still have a chance of being selected in the remaining rounds. You will not need to re-register your interest.

• Round 2: Register by 11:59AM AEST Thursday 1st May 2025 

• • Selected registrants will be notified via email at approximately 12:00 AEST Monday 5th May 2025.
  • If selected, to secure your allocation you will need to complete your pre-purchase before 11:59AM AEST Friday 9th May 2025.
  • Please note: If you are not selected during Round 2, you will still have a chance of being selected in Round 3. You will not need to re-register your interest.

• Round 3: Register by 11:59AM AEDT Monday 12th May 2025

• • Selected registrants will be notified via email at approximately 12:00PM AEST Thursday 15th May 2025.
  • If selected, to secure your allocation you will need to complete your pre-purchase before 11:59AM AEST Monday 19th May 2025.
  • This will be the last round for pre-purchase.

Once selected, you will have a limited time to complete your purchase. You are not obligated to complete your purchase, but if you do not complete your purchase within the specified purchase period, you will forfeit your allocation.

Registering your interest early does not increase your chances at being selected.

**Pre-purchases of Nintendo Switch 2 are expected to be delivered to your provided address on the release day; however, delays may occur in some instances.

How can I be eligible to register my interest?

You must meet the specific eligibility requirements. You can check your eligibility by signing in on My Nintendo Store and checking your My Account page. Registrations, selection and payment are limited to one console per Customer.

How does registration work?

Register your interest on My Nintendo Store with a Nintendo Account that meets the eligibility requirements. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email that you have successfully registered your interest for the chance to be selected to pre-purchase Nintendo Switch 2. You can check out the status or cancel your registration at any time by going to your My Registrations page.

When will I know if I have been selected?

There will be three allocation rounds:

• Round 1: Register by 11:59AM AEST Thursday 17th April 2025
  • Selected registrants will be notified via email at approximately 18:00 AEST 24th April 2025.
• Round 2: Register by 11:59AM AEST Thursday 1st May 2025 
  • Selected registrants will be notified via email at approximately 12:00PM AEST Monday 5th May 2025.
• Round 3: Register by 11:59AM AEST Monday 12th May 2025 
  • Selected registrants will be notified via email at approximately 12:00PM AEST Thursday 15th May 2025.

Any registrations that were not selected during Round 1 or Round 2 will still have a chance of being selected in future rounds.

If I am selected, how do I complete my pre-purchase?

You will receive an email confirming your registration has been selected. The email will include instructions on how to complete your purchase, along with a link to the “My Registrations” page as well as the purchase period’s start and end time.

If selected, to secure your allocation you will need to complete your pre-purchase by:

• Round 1: 11:59AM AEST Wednesday 30th April 2025
• Round 2: 11:59AM AEST Friday 9th May 2025
• Round 3: 11:59AM AEST Monday 19th May 2025

Along with meeting the eligibility criteria, the Nintendo Account used to complete the registration must include an active paid Nintendo Switch Online membership as the purchaser during the entire registration, selection and pre-purchase process to ensure eligibility.

If I am selected, what happens if I don’t complete my pre-purchase within the specified purchase period?

Once selected, you will have a limited time to complete your purchase. If you do not complete you purchase within the specified purchase period, you will forfeit your allocation.

Will unselected registrations be notified?

No, you will only be notified if the product has been allocated to you. Any registrations not selected in a prior round will still have a chance of being selected in the remaining rounds.
